Creative Christmas Presents Made Easy with Rubbermaid Bento Organizers!

“This shop is part of a social shopper marketing insight campaign with Pollinate Media Group™ and Rubbermaid Bento Organizers but all my opinions are my own. #pmedia #HolidayBento  http://cmp.ly/3/8vNxcO

Can you believe it's December already? If you're like me, you're probably running around wondering what you're going to get everyone for Christmas. Often times I'm so rushed getting presents for everyone else that I forget to focus on other people in my community that are often overlooked and underappreciated. This year, I decided to change that. Of course, being the crafty person that I am, I wanted my gifts to be creative! Here's where Rubbermaid Bento Organizers come in:

These cuties come in several different patterns and colors (you can see them all on Rubbermaid's website). The true magic of the Bento organizers that makes me squeal like a little kid: the flex dividers.

Totally awesome, right?

There are 3 special people in my community that I wanted to focus on this year, and the Bento organizers made it oh-so-easy. First, I filled each organizer with red filler paper:

My mom also made little "flowers" by gluing three large cupcake liners and one small cupcake liner together like so:

Then, she hot glued a red coffee stirrer to the back. They're so easy to make and are sooo cute!

Here's how I styled each box:

1. The Mailman -- The Small Bento Organizer

Or in my case, a mail woman. Last year I saw several blog posts on gifts that people gave their mail person and I loved their thoughtfulness! I want my mail woman to know she is loved and appreciated this season. I filled her Bento organizer with candy, an angel ornament, little Holiday jellies, and I plan to add a gift card as well. You'll also notice that I put a pine cone in each Bento organizer-- these are the cinnamon pine cones that smell amazing! I wanted each box to smell like Christmas and the pine cones totally do that.

I also tied large tags (you can find these at your local craft store) to each box that say "Thank you" and "Merry Christmas." Of course, I had to add a little glitter to the mix, too.

2. The Teacher -- The Large Bento Organizer

Do teachers ever get enough appreciation? My mom has been a teacher for over 25 years and I can tell you no, they don't. I used the large Bento organizer for the teacher because I know she will reuse it in her classroom. I filled her organizer with a picture frame (that my mom added burlap and "Merry Christmas" to), note pads, a manicure/pedicure set, lotion, a coffee cup that says "Tis the Season to Believe in Teachers," tea bags, a Christmas ornament, a decorative ceramic apple, and candy.

You'll notice we added a little burlap to one section to give it some texture. The flex dividers really helped to keep it all in place.

Oh, and here's a little tip-- if you use coffee stirrers for the cupcake liner "flowers," you can insert them through the burlap like this so they stay in place:

Isn't this pattern just lovely?

3. The Momma -- The Medium Bento Organizer

One mom that has specifically encouraged me this year (besides my own awesome Momma, of course) is my friend Jess. Her husband is deployed in Afghanistan and they have an adorable 2 year old together. My first thought was to send something to her husband, but I know she will send him lots of stuff for Christmas. Jess is always giving, and I felt like it was time for her to receive! I filled her organizer with candy, a manicure/pedicure set, a notepad, pens, lotion, and a cute Christmas tree gift box that contains a gift card for her favorite coffee shop!

I cannot wait to give these out!

Did I mention that Target has a $1.00 off coupon for the Bento organizers? Because they totally do. So... go for it! Hint: I bought most of the items inside of the organizers at Target as well ;-)

I challenge you all to give this year outside of your normal "circle" of friends and family. There are a lot of people that need our love and encouragement, especially during the holidays.

So who will you give to this year? What presents would you create with Rubbermaid Bento Organizers? Share your ideas with me!
