Do you remember my recycled paper Mother's Day brooch from last year? Well, I decided to make another one to share on Crafting a Green World. They're so, so easy to make and have a more personalized and homemade feel than the average ribbon you would find at a generic party store.
What You Will Need:
1. Book pages or other paper
2. A permanent marker
5. School glue
6. Hot glue/hot glue gun
7. A brooch pin. You can find these at your local craft store.
How To Do It:
1. Draw two circles on your paper (pictured below). Then, cut them out.
2. Draw and cut out the "ribbons."
3. Color each piece. (Tip: Choose your mom's favorite color!) I left the middle circle white so it would be easier to read the phrase.
4. Write "#1 Mom" or another special phrase on the middle circle.
5. Glue it all together with school glue.
6. After it dries, hot glue the brooch pin to the back of the paper.
Once your hot glue has dried, your brooch is ready to wear! Totally easy, right?
